PROJEKT E

Projekt E

Projekt E was announced in 2020 as a support series to the main World Rallycross Championship, which is still using gasoline-powered cars. The FIA sanctioning body intended to add an electric vehicle class to the main series, but manufacturers refused.

The goal of this project, which is the result of a collaboration between IMG and the Austrian business STARD, is to include electric racing cars in the World RallyCross calendar.

The objective of 'Projekt E' will be to analyze electric racing cars in World Rallycross in accordance with the International Automobile Federation's (FIA) Roadmap for World Rallycross Electrification, which the FIA World Motorsport Council recently ratified.

The cars are powered by an all-electric 'REVelution' powertrain developed and produced by STARD, which produces 450kW (612bhp) and 1002Nm of torque from three motors.

These new electric cars for Projeckt e  have a  four-wheel drive (4WD), 612 horsepower, 1,100 Nm, and a top speed of 240 km/h, making them faster, cleaner, and even more affordable vehicles.
